Singer Industrial has added a Texas distributor of filtration, hose and industrial products, company officials announced Thursday.
Singer said that the acquisition of Filtration & Hose Specialties would expand its presence in the Lone Star State, as well as its broader capabilities in fluid power, filtration and industrial hose. FHS is based in Abilene and operates additional locations in Cleburne and Odessa.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Joining Singer Industrial gives FHS access to broader resources and capabilities while allowing our team to remain focused on the customers and relationships that built this business," FHS General Manager Justin Harris, the grandson of company founder Loy "Jimo" Garner, said in a statement. "We look forward to building on our product offering, technical knowledge and responsive service as part of Singer Industrial."
