Holston Gases has acquired a Georgia provider of gases and welding supplies, the company announced Tuesday.
Athens Gas and Welding Supply Inc. will become the fifth Holston location in Georgia and the Knoxville-based company’s 46th overall across the Southeast.
Holston Gases President Joe Baxter told the Gases and Welding Distributors Association’s GAWDA Media that the combination represented “a perfect fit.”
“Athens Gas and Welding has an outstanding reputation in Northeast Georgia, and we look forward to partnering with them to enhance the offerings they can provide their customers,” Baxter said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
