Hardware, fastener and safety product distributor Hillman announced Monday that it has acquired a supplier of industrial chain and related products in a bid to bolster its position in the MRO market.
Campbell Chain & Fittings, the company said, provides welded and weldless chain, forged fittings, overhead lifting and lifting clamp products to commercial, industrial and retail customers across the U.S. and Canada. It operates a factory in Pennsylvania and a forging plant in South Carolina.
Hillman officials said that the move would bolster the chain assets originally added through its acquisition of Koch Industries in 2024. It would also enhance the company’s overall presence in the MRO market, which officials called “a key focus area for its future growth.”
Hillman purchased the manufacturer from Apex Tool Group for an undisclosed amount. The company expects the addition to contribute more than $20 million in net sales during its 2026 fiscal year.
“With over 105 years in the business, Campbell is a well-respected manufacturer and supplier of chain and related products with a diverse set of customers that will make a great addition to Hillman,” Hillman President and CEO Jon Michael Adinolfi said in a statement. “Going forward, we will continue to pursue attractive acquisition opportunities as a key part of our growth strategy.”
