Dayton, OH —Bismarck Winnelson has opened in the North Dakota capital city to provide contractors in a 150-mile radius with plumbing, HVAC, utility waterworks, and septic and sewer products.

It is the fourth location extending the Winnelson brand into North Dakota. The others are in Grand Forks, Fargo and Minot.

WinWholesale, one of the largest distributors in the United States, is the majority shareholder in each of the four companies. It provides the companies with support services such as accounting, payroll, IT and marketing.

Industry and WinWholesale veteran Greg Burr is the Bismarck Winnelson president. Before helping to open Minot Winnelson last fall, Burr was president of Queen City Winnelson in Springfield, Mo., for 16 years.

“We’re delighted Greg Burr decided to use his product knowledge and experience to open Bismarck Winnelson,” said Monte Salsman, WinWholesale chief operating officer. “I’m confident his customers also will be delighted with the products and pleasant, personalized customer service from his company.”

Bismarck Winnelson’s product lines include American Standard, A.O. Smith, Viega, Zoeller and Allied, among others.

WinWholesale has more than 450 local companies across the United States in addition to nearly 70 Noland Company locations, mainly in the Southeast. Noland Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinWholesale.
