Bay State Cable Ties continues to grow its business by adding new products and services, and is planning an expansion next year. In 2014 the company will add 10,000 square feet to its manufacturing facility in Crestview, bringing the total size to 60,000 square feet and boosting production capacity by 30%. The expansion is also expected to create 20 new jobs.

Acquisitions included AME—which specialized in security products—in 2004, Fitzmark, which specialized in hot stamping of cable ties—in 2005, and Technology Plastics—a custom molder of fastener, medical, retail and telecom products—in 2008.
