TIPCO Technologies announced Thursday that it has added a Los Angeles-area distributor of hoses, fittings, adapters and other components.
Gann Products, TIPCO officials said, has served industrial and OEM customers in Southern California for more than 70 years. Company leaders said the deal would bolster TIPCO’s presence in the Southern California market, as well as expand its overall products and service capabilities.
Gann’s staff will remain in place at its Downey, California, facility, and will gain access to TIPCO’s portfolio across fluid conveyance, gaskets and sealing, engineering support and value-added services.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Since 1954, Gann has built an outstanding reputation by putting customers first and delivering solutions they can rely on,” TIPCO Co-CEO Brad Marshall said in a statement. “We look forward to building on that legacy and creating even more value for customers together.”

TIPCO came in at no. 47 on ID’s newest Big 50 List.
