
Graybar announced Monday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Oklahoma electrical distributor Broken Arrow Electric Supply.
BAES provides electrical components as well as automation and control solutions, power distribution centers, specialty wire and cable, light assembly and LED lighting to the industrial, commercial, residential and OEM markets. Following the closing of the transaction, Broken Arrow will continue to operate under its own name and with its current staff, suppliers, and footprint of seven locations across eastern Oklahoma.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Broken Arrow Electric Supply is a highly respected organization with a strong market position in Oklahoma,” Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathleen Mazzarella said in a statement. “This acquisition complements Graybar’s business and enhances our ability to serve customers and accelerate growth in the region.”
BAES CEO Bruce Garner added that joining Garybar, “allows us to preserve our distinctive culture while opening the door to new opportunities for growth, innovation and service.”
