Metal processor All Metals Fabricating and other investors have acquired fellow Texas company Meister Supply Company — and given it a new name.

The electrical and telecommunications distributor is now operating as Power Electric Supply Company, officials announced last week.

All Metals officials said that its stake in the business would provide its customers with new sourcing options — and stronger pricing — for their manufacturing projects. The company particularly highlighted the potential benefits amid rapidly growing demand for copper bus bar.

The deal would also enable All Metals to support data center, power generation and other projects in rapidly growing markets, officials added.

Power Electric Supply customers, meanwhile, would be able to utilize All Metals’ manufacturing capabilities for “simpler vendor coordination and clearer communication.”

"This partnership benefits every customer we serve," All Metals Fabricating CEO Lance Thrailkill said in a statement. "There have already been projects where we've seen Power Electric Supply Company source components for a better price and faster than any of our other distribution partners.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
