Ferguson Fire & Fabrication Acquires Atlantic American Fire Equipment Company

Ferguson gains a 31-year-old distributor of fire sprinkler system products and services, which has six branches and is headquartered in Warrington, Pennsylvania.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA — Ferguson Fire & Fabrication on Thursday announced the acquisition of Atlantic American Fire Equipment Company, in an asset transaction completed Oct. 19.

Atlantic American Fire Equipment Company was founded in 1984 by Paul De Camara and Patrick Roche based on their vision of providing the best fire sprinkler system products and services in the market. Headquartered in Warrington, Pennsylvania, the company has grown to six strategically located warehouses serving a 13-state region from Maine to North Carolina.

Ferguson Fire & Fabrication supports fire protection contractors with 60 locations and 30 fabrication facilities in 29 states, and more than 700 highly trained associates. Eight of Ferguson’s 30 fabrication facilities are ISO 9001:2008 certified, making Ferguson the largest certified sprinkler fabricator in the country.
