ST. LOUIS -- Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has appointed Bob Lyons to the position of senior vice president, U.S. business, effective April 1, 2011.
Lyons will replace Dick Offenbacher who will be retiring after nearly 43 years with the company.
Both Offenbacher and Lyons serve on Graybar's Board of Directors. Offenbacher will resign from the board upon his retirement. A Graybar veteran of nearly 32 years, Lyons currently serves as district vice president of Graybar's Tampa district. In his new assignment, he will oversee Graybar's field organization throughout the United States."On behalf of Graybar's employees, shareholders and Board of Directors, I thank Dick Offenbacher for his contributions to the company and wish him all the best in retirement," said Robert A. Graybar also appointed Bob Siegel to the position of vice president, product management. This appointment follows the recent retirement of Bruce Judkins as vice president, electrical.
Siegel has been with Graybar for nearly 27 years and brings a wealth of experience into this new position. Over the course of his career, he has held roles in customer service, sales, purchasing, information technology and product management, most recently serving as a senior national product manager at Graybar’s corporate headquarters.
Graybar is also expanding the roles of two current executives. Bill Mansfield, formerly vice president, industrial, will now serve as vice president, industrial and commercial. Steve Stone, formerly vice president, comm/data, has been named vice president, electrical construction and comm/data, which includes all comm/data and utility customers.
