Saint-Gobain Acquires German Polymer Manufacturer

Created in 1985, LS Kunststofftechnologie is headquartered in Wertheim, near Frankfurt. It has two production sites, one in Wertheim and the other in Neuhaus, near Erfurt, and more than 220 employees.

Germany - Saint-Gobain has finalized the acquisition of LS Kunststofftechnologie GmbH, a German manufacturer of high-performance polymer components for the automotive, medical and industrial markets.
 
Created in 1985, LS Kunststofftechnologie is headquartered in Wertheim, near Frankfurt. It has two production sites, one in Wertheim and the other in Neuhaus, near Erfurt, and more than 220 employees.
 
LS co-develops tailor-made solutions in response to its customers’ specific requirements and has cutting-edge expertise in design, tooling, testing and the processing of high-temperature polymers. The addition of LS to Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics will help boost international sales of its products.
 
This acquisition is a perfect fit with the Group’s strategy of strengthening its positions in high-performance and co-developed solutions.
