According to a report Thursday by the San Antonio Business Journal, Grainger has leased 40,000 square feet in a previously-empty northwest San Antonio office building.
Details on the deal were not available, but the report cites construction permits showing that Grainger now occupies the full third and part of the second floors of the 85,000 square foot Fountainhead II Class A office building. The report says finish-out work was estimated to cost $2.85 million.
The report says Grainger's lease was signed during the fourth quarter of 2015.
The office building is part of the northwest San Antonio's Fountainhead Business Park, a 12-acre campus at 4411 and 4545 Horizon Hill Blvd.
Lake Forest, IL-based Grainger was No. 3 on Industrial Distribution's 2015 Big 50 List.
