Winsupply has added a new “local company” subsidiary in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the company announced Wednesday.
Tulsa Winlectric officially opened for business in late June at its 20,000-square-foot facility on the city’s east side.
The branch will provide electrical supplies to the Tulsa area, which also includes the Tulsa Winwater, Tulsa Winair and Tulsa Winnelson stores. Jacob Wares, the president of the new company, was an electrical contractor before joining Tulsa Winnelson, where he completed a President’s Scholarship training program for local company leaders.
Winsupply local companies are majority-owned by Winsupply with stakes owned by local business leaders.
Tulsa Winlectric plans to hold a grand opening event this fall.
