Winsupply announced Thursday that it has purchased a building near its Ohio headquarters that would help the company add 200,000 square feet of space to its flagship distribution center.
The construction and industrial supply distributor said that it has closed on its purchase of a 48,000-square-foot facility in Miami Township, Ohio, that was previously operated by moving services company Planes Moving & Storage. Company officials said that the additional facility was “in concert” with its project to expand its Miami Township distribution center, a plan originally announced in March.
“The additional space in Dayton will enable Winsupply to increase our product breadth and depth and provide the products to ‘Local Companies’ so they can serve their customers,” Winsupply Inc. President Jeff Dice said in a statement.
Winsupply reiterated that it is expanding another distribution hub near Oklahoma City and adding its eighth distribution center in the Atlanta market.
