EIS Merged Into Motion Industries As Electrical Specialties Group: After operating as an independent subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company for nearly 20 years, electrical/industrial parts distributor EIS Inc. has been absorbed by fellow GPC subsidiary Motion Industries and is now the Electrical Specialties Group of Motion Industries. One day later, Motion announced that it is opening a new distribution center near Seattle late this spring.
