NEFCO announced Monday that it has officially opened a new branch in Iowa.

The Cedar Rapids location features both office and warehouse space across 22,500 square feet. Its inventory includes strut channel and fittings, hardware, anchors, threaded rod and pipe hangers, as well as power tools, safety equipment and other jobsite supplies.

Company officials said that the site would bolster its overall presence in the Midwest construction market.

“We’re proud to plant deeper roots in Iowa with the opening of our latest ‘Orangefield’ in Cedar Rapids,” NEFCO President and CEO Matthew Gelles said in the announcement. “Iowa has a strong and growing contractor community, and this location allows us to better support that demand with the inventory, expertise and dependable service NEFCO is known for.”
