Motion officials said each would offer industrial products and fulfillment in their respective regions, as well as field services, support for specialists, and training opportunities for both staff and customers.

Motion added that they will join a network of 14 locations across the country.

“Expanding our footprint in Mexico reinforces our commitment to this vital market and enhances our ability to drive value for these customers,” Motion President James Howe said in the announcement. “We remain dedicated to deepening our investment to fuel these regions’ economic growth, while delivering the excellent service our customers expect.”

Motion, the no. 2 distributor on ID’s latest Big 50, is poised to become a standalone company next year under a proposal from longtime parent Genuine Parts Company.
