Safety product and personal protective equipment manufacturer Radians has opened a new distribution hub that the company said would enhance its transportation and delivery operations across the West.
The Memphis-based supplier announced the debut of its Salt Lake City facility on Tuesday. The campus, officials said, offers enhanced inventory management, picking, packing and shipping operations, and custom imprinting capabilities, as well as a showroom for its PPE solutions.
The company said that it would also create “new employment opportunities” in the area, including warehouse, operations support and screen printing positions; the announcement did not disclose how many people would staff the new center.
“This new facility positions us closer to our customers and end users in the West,” Radians CEO Mike Tutor said in a statement. “By expanding our regional footprint, we are able to have longer order windows, accelerate delivery times, improve service levels, and support our partners with greater speed and efficiency.”
