Plumbing, electrical and HVAC e-commerce distributor SupplyHouse has moved to a new distribution center in central Ohio, company officials announced Thursday.
The company relocated from its previous, 289,000-square-foot location in Columbus to a 527,000-square-foot warehouse in Columbus suburb Winchester, Ohio. SupplyHouse officials said the move would allow for more products and on-hand inventory, along with improved processing and shipping capabilities for customers in the Midwest.
"This expansion is about making it easier and faster for our customers to get what they need," SupplyHouse COO Nando Cunha said in a statement. "By increasing our inventory capacity and optimizing our fulfillment operations, we're strengthening our ability to deliver the right products, at the right time, so our customers can keep their projects moving without delay."
The Ohio center is one of four SupplyHouse facilities; the others are located in Nevada, Texas and New Jersey. The company, established in 2004, announced an agreement with investment firm KKR last summer.
