Northeast Ohio distributor Elite Supply has expanded its facility, workforce and product lineup in recent months.
A company official told ID that Elite purchased a new four-acre property with an over 20,000-square-foot facility last summer after outgrowing its previous location in Salem, Ohio. The distributor has also doubled its workforce in the subsequent months, as well as reached an agreement to serve as a contract partner and stocking distributor of Lubrizol’s CPI division, which added lubricants and industrial fluids to Elite's hose and fittings lineup.
Company President Matt Steer was also named chairman of distributor cooperative IDCO. Steer founded Elite Supply in 2018, when he was still attending Youngstown State University.
The company was featured as part of ID’s 2024 “Watch List.”
