The PTDA Foundation said Tuesday that its 2026 fund drive has already exceeded 40% of its annual goal just over seven weeks into the new year.
The campaign took in $127,204 from 113 donors to date, led by major contributions from Allied Bearing & Supply, Applied Industrial Technologies and Regal Rexnord.
The fund drive supports initiatives to bolster worker recruitment and retention in the power transmission and motion control industry, including the foundation's student and employee scholarship program.
“Building a strong workforce requires both visibility and opportunity,” Allied Bearing Vice President Mike McLain, the president of the PTDA Foundation for 2026, said in a statement. “As interest in our programs has grown, we expanded this year’s scholarships to support more students and industry professionals.”
