PTDA Adds D.P. Brown of Pa.

The 132-year-old company provides bearings, motors and drives across the Mid-Atlantic.

Suburban Philadelphia distributor D.P. Brown of Pa. Inc. has joined the Power Transmission Distributors Association, the trade group announced.

D.P. Brown, founded in 1894, provides bearings, motors, drives and other mechanical power transmission products across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region.

“As a small business, we look forward to leveraging the resources and expertise that PTDA provides its members,” Ben Thomas, the company’s president, said in the announcement. “We are eager to build meaningful relationships with our fellow distributor members and to work alongside manufacturer members to grow our business and better serve our customers.”
