New Air Recycling Assembly on Orbital Wrappers Stops Plastic Film Buildup for Smooth, Automated Operations

TAB Wrapper Tornado Captures, Reuses Exhaust Air – Modex Booth #4652

Reading, PA: Orbital stretch-wrapping machines in the TAB Wrapper Tornado line from TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa., feature a new air recycling assembly (optional) that captures hydraulic exhaust air and directs it towards the cutting blade to blow away any excess plastic film. Available on models with the company's automated cut and wrap device, the air recycling assembly automatically prevents the buildup of scrap on and around the blade, eliminates the potential for downtime to clear the material and ensures smooth, uninterrupted operation. The TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital wrappers automatically wrap plastic film 360 degrees around and under a pallet and its load to create a secure, unitized load able to withstand the rigors of warehousing and transportation without compromising the strength of the wrap for improved product protection.

To be introduced at Modex booth #4652 in Atlanta, Ga., on April 9th, 2018, the clever air recycling assembly is to be shown as a design option with an automated, 80-inch TAB Wrapper Tornado. The orbital wrapper is to showcase the company's wireless remote system, which enables a single forklift driver to operate the packaging machinery at the push of a button without leaving the seat of the lift truck. In addition to the standard 80-inch model, the company offers 100-inch and 40-inch standard models plus custom sizes as needed. The stretch-wrappers are manufactured in the company's Reading, Pa. headquarters and ship fully assembled with a full warranty ready to plug in and operate.
