Birmingham, AL – Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, was named Supplier of the Year FY12 (Indirect Procurement category) by Heinz North America. Motion was the only company to receive a Supplier of the Year Award in the Indirect Procurement category.
Motion had exceeded in delivering Heinz North America’s key objectives of cost savings, quality, efficiency, and innovation, during fiscal year 2012. This is the first time that Motion or any Indirect supplier to Heinz North America has won this award for two consecutive years.

The Supplier of the Year Award is the most prestigious award that Heinz offers to its suppliers.
