Clorox officials said the new platform would provide a unified sales and service organization, a network of leading distributors, and a broad range of products for professional and healthcare customers under its Clorox, Purell, Pine-Sol and Glad brands.

"Over the last six months, team members from CloroxPro, Gojo and the broader Clorox Company have worked tirelessly to build something truly special," Carey Jaros, the president of Clorox Purell, said in a statement. "Our combined business will create tremendous value for customers and distributor partners through an expanded portfolio of market-leading solutions and unparalleled service and support.”

The new business is based in Akron, Ohio, has additional offices in Toronto and the Bay Area; its other locations include Ashland, Cuyahoga Falls and Wooster, Ohio, and suburban Atlanta.
