A U.K.-based online distributor of fasteners, tools and motion control components has expanded across the Atlantic, company officials announced Monday.

Accu, based in Huddersfield, England, said that its first U.S. distribution center is located in Indiana. The company’s announcement did not disclose an exact location, but its U.S. website lists an address on Indianapolis’ far north side.

Accu Vice President of U.S. Operations Daniel Ackroyd said in the announcement that a “changing global trade environment” prompted the company to accelerate its plans to "internationalize" the business.

The 10,000-square-foot Indiana hub, officials said, would offer a centralized location to serve the entire North American market, along with available nearby warehouse capacity and close proximity to its supply chain partners.

“Our Indiana distribution center will serve primarily the home market and should lead to reduced delivery times for our U.S. customers,” Ackroyd said. “Our plan is to grow our operations here and create a number of new jobs in the coming months.”

Accu also named Gio Cespedes as its first managing director for Accu Inc. The company said that Cespedes previously owned Charlotte fastener distributor Falcon Fastenings and served as North America managing director at TR Fastenings.

“Gio brings a unique blend of industry experience, team leadership, strategic thinking and personal integrity,” Accu CEO Dan Jack said in a statement. “He is the perfect fit for Accu and will help continue our rapid growth in the world’s largest industrial marketplace.”

Accu said in the announcement that its revenue had risen by 24% “for the year to November 2025,” and that its pre-tax profit had more than tripled over that span.
