Paris, France - Sonepar Asia-Pacific is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the shares of Electrical Wholesale Services (EWS).
EWS, a well-known company with a 40-year history in the electrical industry in Australia, has joined the Group from the 1st of July 2013. EWS generated AU$13 million in sales (€10 million), closing June 2013.
EWS, a 5-branch company, is an electrical wholesaler based in the state of New South Wales with a focus on electrical contractors, industrial users and local government. The Sydney City branch is specialized in the Lift segment of the building industry.
The EWS business is based on strong foundations, an enthusiastic and professional management team, consistent customer service and passionate dedicated associates.
Sonepar is pleased to welcome John Colyer, General Manager, along with the 32 associates from EWS, and looks forward to be able to continue to build on the long history of this company in Australia.
