December 14, 2012 - Goodall Rubber Company of Canada is moving its production facility from its current location on Pretty RIver Parkway to a newly rehabilitated building at 530 Third Street in Collingwood.
The company has decided to invest in the local market because of the exceptional workfroce and the historical success the company has had working with the local community.
Jeff Crane, CEO of parent company, Lewis-Getz based in Pittsburgh, PA said about the move, "We are excited to invest in a new, state of the art facility that will continue to provide high-quality products to our worldwide customers."
Sandi Bonwick, General Manager of the local facility also commented, "We are excited about the opportunities that this investment decision will bring for our employees, for the local economy, for our distribution centers, for our customers and for our investors. The move to a new property is anticipated to take place the summer of 2013 with production at the new facility beginning then.
