Walter Meier Manufacturing, the parent company of Jet, Powermatic and Wilton brands, is pleased to announce a new member to their executive team. William Ward, who most recently served as Director of Sales for Propex LLC, has joined Walter Meier in a similar capacity.
As Director of Sales, North America, a role he accepted in February of 2012, William Ward is using his extensive experience in sales, distribution management, national account management, channel expansion and new market development to oversee and enhance sales and service levels at Walter Meier Manufacturing.
As a member of the Walter Meier executive team, Bill is responsible for all North American field sales activities and serves as the catalyst for market and channel expansion. His priorities moving forward include achieving corporate sales strategies and ensuring the Walter Meier brand family is firmly cemented throughout all markets in which the company is focused.
Bill has over 28 years of experience in the Industrial, Electrical, Building Construction, Safety and HVAC industries. He began his career with Cooper Industries Industrial Tools Division and most recently served as Director of Sales for Propex LLC.
Bill earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering while attending the University of South Carolina. He continued his professional development at Texas A&M University, and the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western University.
