Lincolnshire, IL - Klein Tools announced today the promotion of Mark P. Klein to Vice President, Domestic Sales. Mark has been with the company for over nine years serving in a number of progressive roles.

In his new role, Klein will be responsible for the direction, coordination and development of sales growth in the U.S.  His new position also entails overseeing the design and execution of strategic sales plans and product promotions for the company’s U.S. sales force and representative organizations.

“As a family-owned company for over 155 years, a top priority is to grow Klein Tools’ executive leadership team,” stated John McDevitt, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Klein Tools. “Mark Klein has played a significant role in developing new sales channels, creating increased market share and contributing to our overall goals and objectives for domestic growth.”

Most recently, Mark served as Director, North American Sales, which included the direction and development of sales growth in the Electrical, Telecom, Hardware, HVAC, Industrial, Construction, Mining, and Utilities channels. Prior to that role, he served as Manager, Strategic Channel Development, which included all of Canada, HVAC, Telecom, Utilities, and MRO. Mark’s earlier positions at Klein Tools included Channel Manager, HVAC, in which he led the initial launch of Klein’s first HVAC program, growing that business and gaining market share in that previously untapped channel. Mark holds a BA from the University of Iowa, an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and has attended executive education programs at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.
