enVista’s President and CEO, Jim Barnes, Named A 2012 Supply and Demand Chain Executive Pro To Know

enVista, a leading enterprise and supply chain consulting services firm, announced today that Jim Barnes, enVista president and CEO, has been selected as a 2012 Pro To Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. Barnes was selected as an exceptional supply chain executive out of more than 300 nominees.

“Our annual list of Provider Pros To Know highlights the many thought-leaders who are helping to shape the supply chain industry and advance supply chain as a respected discipline in the enterprise,” said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Their efforts in developing the tools, processes and knowledge base necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, have earned them a place on this year’s Provider Pros listing.”

Barnes has over 20 years of experience deploying supply chain and enterprise solutions and synchronizing material and information flow for Fortune 500 companies. Barnes co-founded enVista in 2002 in response to market demand for comprehensive supply chain consulting services.

“I had the pleasure of engaging Jim Barnes and enVista on a WMS project and I got way more than I bargained for,” said George Argodale, former CIO of enVista client Harbor Freight Tools and current CIO at FleetPride, Inc. “Jim is one of the smartest people I’ve ever worked with and is an expert in nearly every aspect of the retail supply chain, from source to consumption. Jim ensures solutions that add shareholder value by delivering a quick ROI and a road map for long-term continuous improvement. Once you’ve engaged Jim, he becomes a lifelong resource with a considerable network of supply chain professionals.”

The 2012 Pros To Know article will be included in the March 2012 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive, which will be released in mid-March.
