TUCSON -- Intec Group has recently signed a contract for services that has made International Logistic Solutions (ILS) Intec's exclusive freight forwarder.
ILS will coordinate the transportation of all of Intec's ground, rail, and air shipments between its Chicago area, Mexico, and China production facilities.
In addition to providing Intec with freight forwarding services, International Logistic Solutions cross docks, warehouses, and stores materials and finished goods for its client.
“Our choice of ILS as one of our key service suppliers was predicated on its demonstrated competence, reliability, and the comprehensive nature of its service offerings,” said Steve Perlman, the co-CEO of Intec. “Doing business with ILS enables us to reduce our supplier base, and, therefore, lower overall associated costs.”
The Intec Group, based in Palatine, Ill., is a supplier to the automotive industry, and is an industry expert in designing and manufacturing precision insert molded and injection molded thermoplastic parts. The ILS Company is an Offshore Group Company.
