PITTSBURGH -- Wesco International, Inc., a leading provider of electrical, industrial, and communications MRO and OEM products, construction materials, and advanced supply chain management and logistics services, today announced that it has acquired the business of RECO, LLC, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
RECO, with annual sales of approximately $25 million, is a Siemens automation, controls and electrical distributor, with six branches located in the midwest and southeastern regions of the United States.
Stephen A. Van Oss, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer stated, "The addition of RECO expands and enhances WESCO's industrial automation and control product and service offerings. RECO is one of the top Siemens distributors in the US and we are pleased to have them become part of the Wesco team. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings."
