Enterprise Products Sells Energy Transfer Units

HOUSTON (AP) — Oil and gas distributor Enterprise Products Partners LP said Monday it expects to raise $169 million from a subsidiary's sale of 4.45 million units of Energy Transfer Equity LP. The Houston company said it would use the money for general purposes including capital projects.

HOUSTON (AP) — Oil and gas distributor Enterprise Products Partners LP said Monday it expects to raise $169 million from a subsidiary's sale of 4.45 million units of Energy Transfer Equity LP.

The Houston company said it would use the money for general purposes including capital projects.

Enterprise owns pipelines and storage facilities for natural gas and liquefied gas, oil and refined petroleum products and petrochemicals.

Enterprise shares fell 37 cents to $41.22 and shares of Energy Transfer, based in Dallas, dropped 82 cents, or 2 percent, to $40.51.
