MADISON, Wis. -- Conney Safety Products, the largest specialty distributor of Safety Supplies and Equipment in the United States, announced today that it has completed the purchase of Mettam Safety Supply Company of Danville, IL.
Michael Wessner, Chief Executive Officer of Conney Safety Products, said, "The combination of these two companies will be very powerful. Mettam's large customer relationships will benefit from Conney's premier inventory and distribution capabilities, catalog, web presence, and information technology infrastructure. We hope to find several more companies like Mettam to partner with over the next few years."
