Steiner Acquires Inland Cutting Products & Industrial Sling

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. -- Steiner Electric Company, headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois announces the merger of the Crown Industrial Supply Division with Inland Cutting Products and the Industrial Sling Company. Founded in 1982, Inland Cutting Products, headquartered in Countryside, Illinois, is a leading distributor of name-brand industrial metalworking supplies and equipment.

Founded in 1982, Inland Cutting Products, headquartered in Countryside, Illinois, is a leading distributor of name-brand industrial metalworking supplies and equipment. Inland's focus has been the steel processing and metalworking industry in the greater Chicago area, Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana, providing integrated supply solutions, product application and other services.

Steiner, founded in 1916 is well known as the largest independent distributor for electrical supplies in northern Illinois. In addition to being a large lighting, motor, drives and motor repair, generators and automation products distributor, Steiner entered the industrial supply business in 1998 with the acquisition of Crown Industry Supply Company.

Daniel Bruch will be President of Steiner Industrial Supply. Dan is an Industrial Engineer with comprehensive knowledge of the industry. He founded Inland Cutting Products and has guided its continuous growth.
