RADNOR, Pa. (AP) — Airgas Inc. said Monday that its board increased the industrial gas supplier's quarterly cash dividend by 10 percent, to 32 cents from 29 cents.
The Radnor, Pa., company's dividend will be paid Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 15.
Airgas distributes industrial, medical and specialty gases along with welding equipment and supplies. Its products include nitrous oxide, dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide.
Company shares climbed 87 cents to $63.45 in afternoon trading, while broader trading indexes rose roughly 2 percent.
