Air Liquide To Divest Assets To Matheson Tri-Gas Per Airgas Deal: The divestments are a significant step toward satisfying the conditions set by the FCC in its approval of Air Liquide's $13.4 billion acquisition of Airgas. Under the terms of the purchase agreements, Matheson will acquire the following assets from Air Liquide:

  • 18 air separation units in 16 locations;
  • Two nitrous oxide production facilities;
  • Four liquid carbon dioxide production facilities in four states, including two dry ice production facilities;
  • Three Airgas retail packaged welding gas stores in Alaska.

F.W. Webb Acquires Trenton, NJ-Based Lincoln Supply: The move gains F.W. Webb its fourth New Jersey location and expands its service to Bucks County, NJ and eastern Pennslyvania, including greater Philadelphia. It's been a busy past few months of growth for F.W. Webb. On April 8, it announced the acquisition of Seabrook, NH-based Seabrook Supply. On March 9, it announced the acquisition of Malden, MA and Londonderry, NH-based Water Works Supply and the creation of a Water Works division.
