ST. LOUIS — Graybar, a distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, recently reported record net sales for the 2016 second quarter.
Following record net sales in the first quarter of the year, Graybar achieved a second quarter net sales record of $1.6 billion, a 3.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Net income for the quarter was $25.6 million, up 2.2 percent from the same period in 2015.
For the first six months of the year, the company reported net sales of $3.1 billion, a 4.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Net income for the first six months of the year increased 8.3 percent to $40.7 million.
