Winsupply Acquires Companies In New Jersey, Maine

The company has opened new branches in Absecon, NJ and Rockland, ME, which are the seventh and eighth new Winsupply locations of 2016.

Dayton, OH-based Winsupply — No. 14 on Industrial Distribution's 2016 Big 50 List — announced Thursday that it has opened to new companies along the U.S. northeastern seaboard: Winsupply of Absecon, NJ and Winsupply of Rockland, ME. They are the seventh and eighth new Winsupply companies of 2016.

The company said the Absecon, NJ location serves contractors in the plumbing, hydronics and new construction industries in Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May counties of New Jersey. The president of the company, Jim Yates, and his team have more than 75 combined years of experience in the plumbing and hydronics industries. Yates previously worked for plumbing supply companies in the region.

Winsupply said the Rockland, ME, location serves plumbing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation (HVAC), and hydronics contractors in the mid-coastal region between Portland and Bangor, where Winsupply has existing locations in each of the latter cities.

The president of Winsupply of Rockland, Sam Irish, has been with Winsupply for more than 10 years and helped open Bangor Winsupply in 2014.
