CID1 Certification for its SafeSite® LED Linear fixture with Battery Backup

Dialight, the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today announced CID1 Certification for its SafeSite® LED Linear fixture with Battery Backup.
The 85W fixture delivers 7,250 lumens on primary power, with 500 lumens in battery backup mode.

Providing up to three hours of illumination on battery backup for Class I Div 1 hazardous locations, the new linear is ideally suited for offshore drilling operations, refineries and other classified environments.

The fixture carries a T4A temperature rating and ambient operating range of -4°F to +149°F. The factory-sealed linear is IP66 and NEMA 4X rated for ingress protection, highly resistant to shock and vibration and features a tempered glass lens with a with an epoxy primer plus super durable polyester powder coat on the aluminum housing for superior corrosion resistance. In addition to UL1598/A and UL844, the SafeSite Linear with Battery Backup is also CSA 22.2 No.250 and No.137 rated to meet Canadian standards.

A field-replaceable battery with up to 3 hours of run time and Dialight’s 5-year full-performance warranty ensure many years of worry-free performance.
