Mueller Industries Inc. on Tuesday reported first-quarter profit of $15.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Collierville, Tennessee-based company said it had net income of 28 cents. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs and non-recurring costs, were 56 cents per share.
The copper, brass, aluminum and plastic products company posted revenue of $611.8 million in the period.
Mueller Industries shares have increased 34 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 14 percent in the last 12 months.
