Webb CompanyThe new Long Island campus, located in Central Islip, New York, features a storefront and a warehouse across 143,000 square feet to provide equipment, replacement parts, tools, cleaning supplies and accessories to the region’s contractors, technicians and facility managers. The company said it is designed for “buy-and-go” purchasing via call, text or the company’s mobile app.

The new site’s staff includes employees from a nearby F.W. Webb location in West Babylon, New York, which is being renovated to expand its fire sprinkler fabrication capabilities. The trade counter at West Babylon remains open, officials said.

F.W. Webb COO Bob Mucciarone said that the company expects the new facility to be “a game-changer for our team on Long Island and for our company as a whole.”

The second new location, a 27,000-square-foot wholesale store and warehouse in Whippany, New Jersey, replaces a former branch in Madison, New Jersey. Its lineup includes fittings, valves, tools and jan-san supplies.

“Our company has made a significant commitment to supplying trade professionals in the New York metropolitan area, and this larger, upgraded facility builds on our efforts to help them work more efficiently and more effectively,” Mucciarone said in a statement.

F.W. Webb also noted that the Whippany location will complement its operations across the Mid-Atlantic, including a new store in Somerdale, New Jersey, and a forthcoming central distribution facility — its second — in Hazelton, Pennsylvania.

The company ranked at no. 12 on ID's most recent Big 50 list.
