IBC announced earlier this month hand tool and forged part manufacturer KANCA Forging has joined the buying group as a supplier member.
KANCA, headquartered near Istanbul, manufactures a variety of hand tools — including vises, anvils, clamps, cutters and hammers — as well as supplies forged parts to industrial, automotive and diesel OEM customers. The company supplies North American customers from a third-party logistics facility in suburban Chicago.
IBC officials said that KANCA’s products will support both group purchasing initiatives and members’ projects that require tools and forged components.
“KANCA’s longstanding expertise and comprehensive manufacturing capabilities make them an excellent fit for IBC,” Chet Hood, IBC director of business development and supplier relations, said in a statement. “Our members will benefit from access to a reliable supplier with deep experience serving OEMs and industrial customers, world-class forging strength, and a North American distribution presence to support timely deliveries.”
“We are excited to join the IBC Industrial Buying Group,” said Sait Demirel, vice president of sales at KANCA Forging. “This membership strengthens our ability to connect with new customers and supports our commitment to delivering durable, high-quality tools and forged parts.”
