IBC has added global finishing solutions provider Osborn LLC as a new supplier member, the buying group announced at the beginning of the year.
IBC officials said that the partnership would expand access for distributors to Osborn’s industrial brushes and surface treatment products. Indiana-based Osborn LLC is the U.S. division of Germany’s Osborn GmbH, which dates back to 1887.
“Partnering with IBC gives Osborn a stronger channel to deliver value to distributors and their customers,” Osborn LLC Regional Sales Manager Chris Lyons said in a statement. “We look forward to equipping IBC members with the tools, training and application support they need to win more technical business, shorten sales cycles, and deliver long-term performance improvements for end users.”
“Our distributor members will benefit from Osborn’s durable products, technical support and process-optimization capabilities — resources that directly help end user customers increase efficiency, reduce costs and solve complex manufacturing challenges,” added Chet Hood, IBC’s director of business development and supplier relations.
