The departing chief executive of STAFDA has been named the new executive director of the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association, the CSDA announced Tuesday.

Georgia Foley will assume her new position on Jan. 1. She has led STAFDA since 1999, but announced last month that she would step down at the end of the year as management of the nonprofit shifts to association management company Frontline Co. The CSDA is also management by Frontline.

“Georgia’s proven record of strategic vision, organizational growth, and industry collaboration makes her an exceptional fit to guide CSDA into its next chapter,” CSDA President Mark DeSchepper said in the announcement.

Foley will lead the association's strategic initiatives, member programs and industry partnerships as its new executive director.

“I’m honored to join CSDA and continue supporting the contractors and professionals who keep our industry innovative and safe,” said Foley. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and supporting CSDA members and their employees.”
