The PTDA Foundation awarded nine scholarships in the second year of its employee and student scholarship program, officials announced this month.

Four power transmission and motion control professionals were among the winners, including Stanis Arcel Fotsing Talla from Motion, Jacob Miller from SEW-Eurodrive, and Chantal Guzman Del Castillo and Isabel Walsh from Regal Rexnord. Student recipients included Bence Dobo from Ohio State University, Colin Kipp from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Tamoghna Kommaraju from Georgia Tech, Jacob Kuenzi from Chemeketa Community College in Oregon, and Zach Miller from Texas A&M.

Employee scholarship winners receive $2,500 to support their continuing education efforts, while students receive $3,000 scholarships.

“We’re proud to mark the second year of the PTDA Foundation scholarship program,” PTDA Foundation President Matt Pavlinsky said in a statement. “The number of applicants continues to grow, reflecting strong interest in PT/MC fields.”

Applications for the 2026 round of scholarships can be submitted in January; up to six employee scholarships and eight student scholarships will be awarded next year.
