St. Louis, MO - The NAED Education & Research Foundation’s 2012-2013 Annual Contribution Campaign is now underway. The funds collected from this campaign are used to develop the industry-specific training programs and education that the NAED offers its members.

Foundation Chair Chris Hartmann, executive vice president and CEO of Rexel Holdings USA in Dallas, Texas, leads this year’s campaign efforts. “The 2012-2013 Annual Contribution Campaign is taking place during such an exciting time in the electrical distribution industry,” said Hartmann. “The NAED Education & Research Foundation provides us with the key research, education and development that we all need to keep advancing the future of our industry.”

Past contributions from members have enabled the NAED Foundation to:

  • Officially launch the Branch Management University at naed.org/BMU
  • Develop enhancements for the NAED Learning Center
  • Expand the EPEC program with a lighting specific module and new bootcamp sessions
  • Design and implement Certified Electrical Professional (CEP) program preparatory courses

“We rely on the support of our generous sponsors,” explained Michelle McNamara, senior vice president of NAED and executive director of the NAED Education & Research Foundation. “Every contribution counts towards enhancing the channel’s greatest competitive advantage – our educated workforce.”

“It’s been a great way to bring new hires up to speed and gives our other associates a way to prepare for the future with this company,” said Dan Nitowsky, vice president, Mars Electric Co. “We have seen results throughout our organization as a whole, not just with the engagement level of our employees, but with the satisfaction our customers receive.”

All donations to the NAED Education & Research Foundation are tax-deductible and go to program development. Contributors to the 2012-2013 Annual Campaign will receive a recognition letter, a listing in tED magazine, and acknowledgement at all NAED regional conferences and the National Meeting.
