Augers Leverage Advanced Design To Prevent Jamming, Provide Durability

All augers in the RESI-MASTER line have a 62° cutting angle that provides reinforcement for the cutting edge, reducing wear while providing smooth and accurate drilling action.

Sycamore, IL – IDEAL introduced its new RESI-MASTER™ line of ship augers precision machined to provide faster, smoother drilling action with fewer jams. Available in overall lengths of 7.5” and 18”, the augers meet the stringent standards for quality and performance set by home builders, electricians and other construction contractors, says the company. Each RESI-MASTER auger is constructed from high-quality steel. Its hardened lead screw and cutting edge means a less frequent need for re-sharpening plus excellent performance in soft or hard woods, heavy green wood, and treated wood. All augers in the RESI-MASTER line have a 62° cutting angle that provides reinforcement for the cutting edge, reducing wear while providing smooth and accurate drilling action. In addition, a secondary relief angle is built-in for clearing wood chips and preventing jamming in thicker work pieces. Another RESI-MASTER benefit is its oversized cutting head and tapered body that results in a hole slightly larger than the body of the bit making for cleaner entries and exits from the work piece.
