Safety Supply Illinois, a national distributor of safety products, announced Tuesday that it has completed its company name change to Emergent Safety Supply, effective immediately. This new name signifies another important milestone of the corporate reorganization strategy as the company looks to acquire new businesses for growth opportunity across the country.
"We are focused on becoming a large national player and potentially going global with products. The name change was imminent because we distribute products beyond Illinois. We have a national footprint," said Chief Executive Officer, Mary Porter.
Emergent Safety Supply (ESS) distributes safety and janitorial supplies, which include hand protection, hearing protection, eyewear, head protection, confined space, fall protection, signage and much more. Their mission is to help customers save lives, reduce liability risks and create a socially responsible reputation for putting employee safety as a corporate priority.
In addition, ESS reorganized the company's customer relations division to concentrate on customer needs, which subsequently drove innovation and decision making of new products and services.
CEO Mary Porter is seeking new acquisitions and increasing profits by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. "We're going to stay on course in terms of getting new customers and competing. Our next major drive is to complete an acquisition."
